What's your car worth?

Your trade-in value from real dealer listings near you.

Have your VIN? It's more exact

The 17-character VIN tells us the exact year, make and model, and often the trim. Find it:

  • On the dashboard, through the windshield on the driver's side
  • On the sticker inside the driver's door jamb
  • On your registration, title or insurance card

VINs never use the letters I, O or Q. If you see one, it's a 1 or a 0.

How it works

  1. Real cars for sale near you. We look at used cars like yours listed by dealers within 100 miles of your ZIP code.
  2. Adjusted to your car. Prices are moved to your mileage, and to your trim when enough nearby cars share it.
  3. The dealer's side, shown. We subtract a typical dealer margin and the cost to fix it up for your condition, so you see what a dealer is likely to offer.

Your number shows first. No sign-up, no phone number. If too few similar cars are for sale near you, we say so instead of guessing. See the full method
